The state of Karnataka has implemented a digital locker system that includes a smart card and a key for keeping property details. The Kaveri block chain initiative is a Karnataka government initiative that aims to digitize and validate all land records in the state. The initiative is being carried out by the Centre for Smart Governance (CSG), a Karnataka government subsidiary that manages the state's IT needs. Each property owner is given a smart card with a key that stores the land records in their name. This will be the easiest way for property owners to transact with the project.
Digital documents include Aadhaar, PAN, Driver's License, Registration Certificate (RC), LPG papers, and other government-issued certifications that are made available online. Individuals in India who sign up for a DigiLocker account get 1 GB of dedicated cloud storage related to their Aadhaar number. Customers of Karnataka Bank can access their DigiLocker account through their MoneyClick Internet Banking account. To use this service, the customer must first log in and then navigate to the DigiLocker website, where he or she get access by clicking on DigiLocker.
The free Digital Locker Service on the cloud, or cyberspace, allows anybody with an Adhaar card and a connected mobile phone to sign up as easily as opening an e-mail account. It's a personal storage area for storing e-documents and links to official certifications in a safe manner.
Each Aadhaar-linked digital locker housed on such a cloud is given one GB of free memory space by the Indian government. The locker is divided into five sections: "My Certificates," "My Profile," "My Issuer," "My Requester," and "Directories."
Education, birth, and Property in Bengaluru certificates are all provided to a person. When the government's administrative overheads are digitally stored, the government's administrative overheads are decreased. There will also be fewer frauds. "Everything you publish will be held accountable to you." It eliminates the inconvenience of having to carry actual documents for citizens. Assume that someone has a digital locker and that a government agency has issued a certificate in their name. It will be easier to save the certificate to the user's digital locker.
If the certificate is presented to someone who possesses a 'Digital Locker,' it will include a link. This is a link that may be shared with others. As a result, this certificate can be verified wherever it is presented. It's self-evident that it's real. It's a significant win for the government.
This type of infrastructure is unique to India, and the government and real estate industry benefit greatly as a result. Additionally, the fact that over 850 million unique identity numbers (Aadhaar) have been issued to people indicates the success of this potential initiative.
